Takarazuka

(12. November – 15. November 2018)

I arrived with the local train at Takarazuka station and walked over the Astrids apartment, passing by endless streets and shops in comparison to Sasayama. After 1.5 h I finally  arrived thanks to my offline map and some photos of her entrance she made for me.

When I entered the empty apartment for the first time I had a very strange and to some extent wrong feeling in entering. As I was in someones home for the first time without that particular someone being there and showing me everything.

That funny feeling continued as I did not know how to use the shower, nor how to cook. Furthermore I had no internet with my smartphone because I did not arrange a Sim-card with internet access neither have I had the wlan key of that apartment. The days passed and I figured out how the rice cooker worked so I was able to prepare rice to my raw veggies (it turned out later that most of the veggies I ate, were actually poisonous, if you do not cook them ^.^).

The disconnection from internet was also quite strange  and initiate and worsened my second blues of the journey.

Although all that happened seemed to be quite uncomfortable, altogether it was a nice experience of freedom and of living alone in your own apartment in a big city.

On the 15th Astrid came back and we met up with Kenta and another friend. I realized that I really enjoyed to be together with other people when I am not constantly distracted by my phone. After a comfortable evening together I drove with Kenta to his home/bar in NIshinomia.
